Subscription tickets will be mailed July 2019.
If you have not received your tickets within one week of your first concert, please call us and we will print duplicates for you. Mark your calendar and do plan to attend your concerts, even if you do not have your tickets. We can always reprint tickets, even at the concerts.
Yes. It is recommended that multiple-seat subscriptions are divided into individual records. Only identified subscribers reap subscriber benefits. Otherwise, transactions regarding subscriptions (important mailings, requests for seating changes, reprints, etc.) can only be carried out by the existing subscriber on record.
Simply include a note with your renewal, providing full names, addresses and phone numbers for each subscriber, and indicate which seats should be allocated to whom. Remember to include all payments.
It is not our policy to allow “willing” of subscriptions to friends. As the existing subscriber, you would release your subscription in writing on the renewal invoice. Your friend may send in a new order form with a request for the seats you held. If the seat(s) are not reassigned to an existing subscriber in need of a change, then we will satisfy the request.
What is your exchange policy?
Exchanges are available for all patrons. A $5 per ticket fee applies to non-subscription tickets (additional upgrade charges may apply). Subscribers may exchange their subscription tickets for free.
Exchanges should be made in person at the Box Office during regular business hours, OR you may mail in your tickets with instructions for the new date, and payment for any fees/upgrades. Exchanges must be made at least 24 hours prior to the concert you wish to switch. We exchange on a ticket-for-ticket basis, regardless of original ticket value.
There are no exchanges at concerts.
Refunds are not provided.
If you cannot attend or exchange, contact the Box Office prior to the concert to donate your tickets for resale. We will issue a donation acknowledgement for the value of the tickets when we physically receive them.
Reprints are free. If you have misplaced your tickets, contact the Box Office, or come to your concert and request reprints. We will be happy to assist you.
Special Seating Needs.
We do our very best to provide adequate seating for all of our patrons. If you need aisle, wheelchair or walker accessible seating, or have any other special needs, please contact the Box Office directly. We will be happy to help.
We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. We also accept check and cash payments in person. Checks may be made out to Sarasota Orchestra or for Festival events, Sarasota Music Festival.
Any special codes or offers must be used at the time of purchase. Discounts cannot be provided once the sale is complete.
Do you have student discounts?
We offer student rush $9 tickets for students aged 25 and under with valid school ID. These $9 seats will be available at the door for most concerts that are not sold out. We also offer the $9 price to one adult accompanying a youth under 18 years old.
Do you have discounts for groups?
We offer a 20% discount for groups of 20 or more in one transaction. Group discounts are not available online; please call the Box Office to reserve your group today!
I would like to bring my child to a concert...
Children may attend any Sarasota Orchestra concert as long as they have a ticket. It is generally recommended that children be able to sit quietly for the duration of the concert. We do not allow babies or toddlers, unless it is a family concert. All attendees must have their own seat. Symphony staff or ushers will ask parents to take disruptive children out of the hall.

Van Wezel Fee: For events at the Van Wezel, a $7 fee per ticket for each concert is included for service charges and parking, which is paid to the city-owned and operated Van Wezel. This fee is incorporated into the listed subscription and ticket prices.
Operating Reserve Fund: $1 per ticket is added to support our Operating Reserve.
Ticket sales are vital to sustain Sarasota Orchestra and preserve great music in our community. In the event Sarasota Orchestra needs to cancel a performance, we encourage ticket holders who are able to donate their tickets. We also offer free exchanges or credits for a future concert, or a refund of the ticket price for the cancelled event. (The Orchestra retains a $1 per ticket non-refundable portion for our Operating Reserve Fund.)
